EPLANT® V2019: Successfully Ported to ZWCAD 2020

GUANGZHOU, CHINA: October 23, 2019 – One of the best combos for your plant engineering work is here! With its three modules successfully ported to the faster ZWCAD 2020, EPLANT^® V2019 now allows for a more consistent and efficient workflow.

EPLANT^® is developed by RELSOFT S.A., a software provider specialized in plant engineering and plant model conversion. EPLANT^®-Piping

Material data management can be overwhelming when your project involves thousands of piping lines. To simplify your work, EPLANT^®-Piping has been designed to minimize data input using a parametric component catalog, customizable dimensional standards and automatically enforcing piping specifications. Integration with P&ID data is assured not only with those produced with EPLANT-P&ID, but also with any third-party application.

All traditional engineering documents, such as plant layouts, 2D orthographic drawings, piping isometric drawings, MTO (material take-offs) and material requisitions can be automatically generated from the 3D models that are the source of all construction documents. This ensures a high degree of consistency throughout the project. Furthermore, all drawing files generated by EPLANT^®-Piping are 100% compatible with the native DWG format. This assures easy interaction when sharing drawings with clients and providers alike.

EPLANT^®-P&ID

This module can produce detailed P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) using any symbology standard. Piping Lines, Equipment, Valves, Instruments, Tie-Ins and Fitting Lists are automatically generated from projects including P&IDs. Data sheets based on customizable templates can also be automatically generated. A simple mapping schema allows the constant linking of P&ID data with the EPLANT^®-Piping module, assuring great consistency despite project changes.

Depending on the data format, existing P&IDs can be semi-automatically converted to the EPLANT^®-P&ID format. This feature can be used in new projects or to convert existing documentation.

EPLANT^®-STH

This module is used as a complement to EPLANT^®-Piping for building structures, cable trays, and HVAC. Each component has a parametric definition that allows easy dimensional changes at any moment simply by modifying the parameters.

With its clever compressed structure, even big and complex models will fit in very small 100% native DWG drawing files. The data structure is compatible with the native COPY, MOVE, ERASE and MIRROR commands in ZWCAD 2020.
