ZWCAD Accelerates the Engineering for Sustainable Development of Inerco

Inerco, a Chile-based company that provides comprehensive services in fields such as environment, industrial security and risk prevention, uses ZWCAD to design solutions to monitor and reduce noises and vibrations for their projects.

Background

Inerco develops and applies environmental solutions to the sustainable development of our environment in sectors like mining, energy, tourism, construction, infrastructure, etc. Mauricio Alvaro Salas Rocco, an acoustic engineering manager of Inerco, their department provides environmental monitoring services, including baseline studies, construction monitoring, noise monitoring, air quality monitoring, water quality monitoring, biotic monitoring and archaeological monitoring to customers. For every project, Mauricio Alvaro Salas Rocco needs to design specific 2D or 3D models before he realizes his real solutions.

Challenge

Historically, he designed his solutions on some much more expensive CAD solutions, but gradually he realized that he was actually paying for some unnecessary gimmicks that he would never use.

“I would love to continue to use those CADs, but it was a waste when they are that expensive.” Mauricio said.

After reviewing several other solutions, Mauricio and his colleagues deployed ZWCAD. He found that ZWCAD can actually do exactly the same thing while it only costs them a fraction of the price that they have previously paid. “ZWCAD is awesome, it is flexible, and it is just what we want!” Mauricio said. “Also, I can get very timely technical support from ZWCAD Chile, so it is money well spent.” He added.

Results

Now that Mauricio and his colleagues have switched to ZWCAD, they use ZWCAD to draft basic concepts of noise and vibration control solutions as well as their details. “There are a lot of companies like us out there, in fact, they can save a lot if they know there is a CAD solution like ZWCAD.” Mauricio concluded.
