Maltepe Municipality Achieves 60% Reduction in the Number of Purchased Licenses with ZWCAD

“We are a municipality with a population of approximately 600,000, serving in the Public Local Sector. Due to our activities, we are involved in numerous projects related to zoning, planning, parks, and public works. Our introduction to ZWCAD began with a coincidental visit from the ETİ BİLGİSAYAR team to our organization in 2018. At that time, our existing CAD applications had high license costs and were almost monopolistic.

However, the ZWCAD demo application was quickly deemed very useful and well-liked by our technical team. Shortly after, we increased the number of users by purchasing a 20-user package at more affordable prices, which enabled us to complete more effective projects.

We achieved high efficiency after the POC with ZWCAD. The software's cost-reduction benefits, permanent licensing, and network-based licensing, which reduces the number of required licenses for non-simultaneous users, significantly impacted our large technical staff. Its Turkish language support and easy-to-use interface allowed users from all departments to adapt quickly. The software's compatibility with our city's automation infrastructure added further value. The technical support team has resolved all our requests promptly.

Nearly 50 architects and engineers in our organization now use ZWCAD software in their respective fields. As a result, the number of licenses we need to purchase has decreased by 60%. All our engineers, who previously used a DWG viewer and could not access CAD software due to licensing constraints, now have access to CAD software thanks to network licensing. One of the biggest advantages is that even our technicians and engineers, who thought they couldn't switch from their familiar CAD software, quickly achieved the same performance with ZWCAD. We have achieved much higher efficiency by upgrading all our design computers, monitors, keyboards, and mouse sets with some of the budget saved by using ZWCAD.

It makes us happy to see that our design team, who initially approached the new CAD software with skepticism, now recommends ZWCAD for new purchases even after moving to different company brands.
